PAYMENT
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required when making a booking. This will secure your date.
Balance to be settled the week before the event. If you are booking your event within seven days of the event date, payment must be made in full. The event cannot start until paid for in full. Please ensure we receive proof of payment for the event.

CANCELATION OR AMMENDMENT TO YOUR BOOKING
Your deposit/payment secures your booking. As this is confirming a time slot/booking, once a deposit/payment is received it is not refundable. However, if you need to amend your booking, we will try and accommodate the changes as best as possible. Requests please to be made in writing to the Sales Consultant. Any changes to the booking form e.g., number of guests, number of karts or catering changes, must be made in writing at least 5 working days prior to the event. Confirmation by Kartzone must be received back to you in writing accepting the changes. Participant no shows will not be credited. Should you need to add participants after booking, please advise us accordingly as this will change the original booking. Postponements of the event will only be considered if notification is given at least 5 working days before the event – and these changes will be decided solely in the discretion of Kartzone.
RAIN or BAD weather
KARTZONE will not be held liable for any costs pertaining to a postponement/cancelation due to rain/bad weather – or any other conditions that may alter the bookings arrangements. Payments made are not refundable, however Kartzone will attempt to reschedule a suitable time for both parties (within a 3-month period). If an event cannot take place within 6 months of the original booked date, any payments made towards the event will be forfeited.
CATERING
Please note, we have various catering options. Please feel free to discuss your catering needs with our sales rep. We also stock a large range of cold drinks and beverages. Specific alcoholic beverages can be obtained upon request. Please do not bring your own beverages without consulting our sales rep. A corkage fee will apply.
EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE VENUE
During your booked event you will have exclusive use of the circuit only. This exclusivity does not include the whole venue. Should you wish to have exclusive use of the entire venue rates can be discussed with our sales team. We have hourly, half day and full day options. Arrive and drive sessions do not qualify for track exclusivity. A minimum of 8 karts must be booked for us to consider exclusive venue hire.
START TIMES
Start times need to be strictly adhered to as there could be bookings before or after yours. Any drivers not present by the start of the event, will not be allowed to drive, as they will have missed all the safety briefings and could be a danger to themselves and other clients. Please ensure that all drivers arrive at least 30 minutes before the booked time.
DRIVERS AGES, HEIGHT AND WEIGHT
Drivers must be over the age of 12 and of a minimum height of 1.4m. Maximum weight 120 Kg.
INDEMNITY
All participants must complete our indemnity form. Drivers under the age of 18 must have an indemnity form signed by their parent/ guardian/curator/or a responsible person. Indemnity forms are provided by us on request before the event and are also available on our website .
CLOTHING AND SAFETY
It is compulsory to wear closed shoes (i.e no high heels/platforms/slops/strops) – we recommend you wear long pants, as well as a jacket or long-sleeved shirt. Please refrain from wearing hooded tops. Long hair must be tied up and tucked in. No loose items to be worn including any loose clothing (e.g., scarves, exposed neckless’). Only full faced helmets are permitted – we provide a range of helmet sizes. You are welcome to bring your own helmet. Hairnets to be worn under helmets.
OUR RULES AND OTHER INFORMATION
- Blocking, weaving, swerving and bumping is prohibited – only one warning is given thereafter disqualification (with no refund)
- Braking later than the brake markers is forbidden and is considered dangerous.
- Marshals/Officials/Staff instructions either verbally or by flag/signal are to be always obeyed.
- Karts may only proceed in anti-clockwise direction. (unless specifically advised not to)
- No driving permitted under influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance.
- No driving if pregnant or if you suffer from any serious medical conditions.
- Please ensure all head hair is tied up, tucked in and can’t come loose when driving. In the event it does
please stop safely immediately and wait for a marshal to attend. No loose items of clothing to be worn whilst driving. Only closed shoes permitted when driving.
- Hairnets or balaclavas must be worn under your helmet.
- Make sure your helmet is always secured – ask a Marshall/staff member to assist if you if necessary.
- Please always keep all body parts in the kart, and away from any moving parts.
- In the event of an accident/emergency or stoppage, wait for assistance from a Marshall.
- Please always keep both hands on the steering wheel – exceptions: please raise your right hand/arm to
indicate that you are coming to a stop, to indicate danger or when entering the pit lane
- When entering/exiting the pits keep right and do so with caution. Drive at walking speed in the pit lane.
- The engine, exhaust and other parts are hot, please do not touch them at all.
- If you get injured or require any assistance, please inform our staff immediately.
- Motorsport is dangerous so please show respect to those around you and yourself, as well as to the karts.
- We do not refund after the session has started under any circumstance
- Please make sure you don’t have loose or sharp objects on you when driving e.g., Keys, Phones, Wallet etc.
- Damage caused to our karts/property as a result of dangerous, reckless or negligent driving may be charged to you.
- In the interest of your safety & for your subsequent enjoyment, it is recommended to drive your first few laps at a reduced speed
